Sufferfest

Grab your favorite climbing partner for Sufferfest at Movement Golden - an endurance ropes-based competition in which teams will have 6 hours to complete as many climbs as possible!

Each competitor is awarded points based on the routes that they complete without a fall or weighting the rope from the ground up, with your first three route sends counting towards your score! Teams will have unlimited attempts on routes, unless a team is in line. Bonus points awarded to climbers who lead climb! Team scores are totaled by adding both team members’ individual score – the team with the highest scores in their category wins!

Event: Saturday, August 29th, 2026 from 12:00pm - 6:00pm

After Party: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Award Ceremony: 7:00pm

Price Per Climber: $55 non-member I $45 member

• Registration includes a goodie bag and after-party beer for those over 21 and non-alcoholic beverages for everyone!

• A Food Voucher for Pizza Stone, who will be on site selling slices and pies!

• Novice (up to 5.10b)

• Intermediate (5.10c - 5.11b)

• Advanced (5.11c - 5.12b)

• Open (5.12c +)

Ages: 18 +

Team Size: 2 (Comp will be limited to 60 teams total)

Scoring Format: Scoring will be completed in the Challenge "Golden Sufferfest Rope Climbing Comp" in KAYA, app must be downloaded on phone prior to comp, details on how to set up your team in KAYA down below.

Cancellation Policy: Must cancel in-person or by calling the front desk by August 22nd, 2026 to receive a refund.
