This week, athletes choose a project and learn how to use visualization, efficient tactics, and thoughtful beta selection to increase their chances of success on the wall.

Athletes will dive into bouldering-focused training this week that builds dynamic movement skills through repetition, coordination drills, and detailed beta analysis to expand their modern movement toolkit.

This week content will guide athletes on how to balance volume and intensity, structure sessions effectively, set meaningful goals, and vary training safely to maximize progress while preventing injury.

Prepare your mind like an athlete.
Athletes will experience mock competition rounds while developing comp strategy, resilient mental habits, personal motivation awareness, and pressure‑management routines that elevate performance.
Session 5 | August 10-13 | Lead Climbing & Fear Management
Build confidence through trust and technique.
This session focuses on roped climbing—belay skills, rope management, and safe falling—while also helping athletes understand the roots of fear and move through it with intention. Climbers will strengthen their mental game with practical tools like self‑talk, body awareness, and breathing strategies to stay steady and confident under pressure.

Spend the day outside on real rock! Athletes will meet at Movement Valhalla and board their included bus transportation to the Shawangunks. Guided rock climbing is provided by HighXposure Adventures guide service.

Full-Week Program Cancelation Policies
- 10 days advance notice prior to the first day part of your program is required to reschedule or to receive a refund.
- If an emergency prevents you from attending the program with less than 10 days' notice, please contact us and we will work with you to reschedule or credit your session.
- Unfortunately, in the event that your child misses a day, we will not be able to accommodate make ups due to space limitations. Missed days cannot be pro-rated for a refund or credit.
